Our Ingredients

Every ārdra formulation begins with a single question what does this skin condition actually need? The answer has almost always existed in Ayurvedic botanical tradition. Turmeric that heals. Saffron that illuminates. Sandalwood that calms. Ancient ingredients, chosen because they work not because they're trending.
Ayurveda is not a trend. It's a 5,000-year head start.
Long before clinical trials and INCI lists, Ayurvedic practitioners understood that skin is a living system — one that responds to botanical intelligence rather than synthetic intervention. Every ingredient in the ārdra range has roots in that tradition, selected because generations of use and modern science agree on what it does.
We use whole ingredients, not isolates.
Most skincare extracts a single compound from a plant and discards the rest. We don't. Whole botanicals carry a complexity of actives that work together — the same way they do in nature. Fresh Turmeric root infused into oil. Frankincense hydrosol alongside Frankincense essential oil. Chamomile, Lavender and Neroli together, not apart. The plant, as close to its original form as the formulation allows.
Nothing synthetic. Nothing superfluous.
If an ingredient isn't doing meaningful work for the skin, it isn't in the formula. No fillers, no synthetic fragrance, no preservatives that compromise what we're trying to achieve. Every ārdra product is handmade in small batches — because scale is the enemy of integrity when you're working with living botanical ingredients.
The result is skincare that works the way nature intended — and that your skin recognises.
